Buses and Public Transportation

  • UNITrans is the bus service that is provided by the University of California, Davis to the encompassing town of Davis.  The fare is $1 a ride anywhere, however, if you get on the bus at the UC Davis Memorial Union Station or at the SILO station, the fare is free.  You may also obtain an annual bus pass for $180, or, you may receive a 40% Discount on the Annual Bus Pass and buy one for $120 by joining the GoClub and buying the pass at the TAPS (Transportation And Parking Services) Office.  This is the same place you would go to buy your university parking pass as well and do bike registration.

  • An Additional Advantage of buying your bus pass through the GoClub is you can obtain a FREE Complimentary Parking Pass good for 2 uses a month. Which is very handy for an emergency.
